Together Women Rise is a national organization comprised of over 400 individual groups of women across the country who meet monthly to learn of organizations that help women across the world who lack a place in society, who lack healthcare, who lack education and who lack a way to be self sufficient. At Center Congregational Church we meet the third Wednesday of each month in a member’s home, we enjoy a potluck, fellowship, and we view a DVD telling us of a specific group of women and the organization that is helping them. We contribute a donation that is what we would have spent had we gone out to dinner and it is then sent to help support the grant given to the particular organization featured that month. We welcome not only all women of CCC, but friends who may also wish to join us in this benevolent program.
