Here at Center Congregational Church, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith.
Prayer Requests
Our Prayer Chain Goes out at least Twice a Week to our Prayer Angels as well as Intensive Prayers being led by Reverend Averill every Sunday Morning.

BIBLE STUDY
Bible Study meets every Thursday at 2pm. It's an engaging group of adult students who study both the New and Old Testaments.
Bibles are provided so that we may all read from the same translation.
We are currently reading the Epistles in chronological order.
QUESTIONING THE WORLD
Reading books such as Genesis, Revelation, and Esther, Bible Study (Thursday, 2pm) grapples with questions such as who goes to heaven (including the other Abrahamic faiths), who has sovereignty over Israel-Palestine, and the invasion of Ukraine by a President who considers himself a devout Christian.
CHOIR
The Center Faith Singers rehearse every Sunday Morning at 9 am. We are a merry band of six retired women, who lift their voices in song every Sunday Morning. Led by our music director, Matthew Valenti, the Center Faith Singers are accompanied on the piano or the violin.
Join Us for Worship
Join us Sundays at 10 am as we share God's story of love and mercy with you.
MAUNDY THURSDAY
Come join us for Maundy Thursday, April 2nd, to mark the Last Supper of Jesus Christ. At 6pm we celebrate the Seder Meal with oil, olives and bread, and at 7pm we celebrate the Maundy Thursday Service itself. All are welcome.
EASTER SUNDAY
Join us for Easter Services Sunday, April 5th at 10 am. Sing hymns, listen to scripture, and praise God to mark Christ's Resurrection from the Grave.
(Communion will be served in the month of April on Sunday, April 12th)
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Every Sunday Reverend Averill hosts a Children's Moment with the young children in the Congregation followed by Sunday School available for children ages 6 through 13 in the cry room.
All children are welcome regardless of church membership.
SIGHT & SOUND
Every year we take a bus trip to Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA. In August 2026 we are going to see "Joshua" on stage on an overnight trip followed that Sunday by a special sermon on the same scripture lesson back home. For more visit sight-sound.com.
